What do you do when you only have half a day at a phenomenal destination? Happened to me in Singapore. Heck, there are some days when all I have is two hours. Happened to me just the other day in New York City.
My job takes me to fabulous places all the time and often leaves me little time to immerse myself in them. When this happens, I seek just one micro-experience and I let it define my day.
I am talking about Uruguay and I am doing so excitedly and reluctantly. Excitedly because it's splendid in its un-promoted glory and reluctantly because I prefer that it remains so. We wanderlusters can be a selfish bunch.
